Synopsis

At the outset of World War II, as Britain faces mounting pressure, Winston Churchill tasks the newly formed Special Operations Executive (SOE) with a bold directive: recruit and train female spies to carry out sabotage and support resistance efforts behind enemy lines. Leading this covert initiative is Vera Atkins (Stana Katic), the SOE’s determined “spymistress,” who selects two unlikely heroines — Virginia Hall (Sarah Megan Thomas), a fearless American with a prosthetic leg, and Noor Inayat Khan (Radhika Atpe), a principled Muslim pacifist.
