Synopsis
Batianhu lured nine rural children with false promises, forcing them to beg. One, Lu Wadan, died resisting. Grieving psychotherapist Ling Lan, who lost her family, aided the rescued children by founding “Soul Haven,” a therapy space at their rural school. When Batianhu abducted her, Ling Lan’s compassion moved him to surrender, bringing a glimmer of healing to all.
