Synopsis
Neeson plays a character known only as Thug, a former boxer who now works as an enforcer for local gangster Charlie Conner and his ambitious son, Kyle. During the day, he carries out this dangerous role, while at night, he lives alone in a modest Boston neighborhood. His life begins to change when he steps in to stop a bar fight, confronting a woman’s abusive boyfriend. As troubling mental lapses start to plague him, he seeks medical advice and is diagnosed with advanced CTE, which could leave him unable to care for himself within two years.
