Synopsis
Summer is now the sole caregiver for her young son, Major, after the sudden death of her husband, Jerrel. Major, troubled and restless, refuses to share even a piece of cake with his worried mother. Juggling work, raising a child, and dealing with Major’s behavioral struggles, Summer faces overwhelming challenges. But when a book-sharing box appears nearby, Summer finds unexpected solace in “Mr. Crocket’s World,” a VHS DVD featuring vibrant characters and valuable life lessons. Major quickly becomes captivated by the show. As he starts to change, Summer’s perspective begins to shift, unaware of the profound influence Mr. Crocket—an optimistic TV host who travels to struggling communities, enlisting children to help rebuild a desolate land—has on her son.
