Synopsis
In pursuit of a long-awaited promotion, real estate agent Thomas Hutter agrees to journey to Transylvania to secure the signature of the mysterious Count Orlok on documents finalizing his purchase of a mansion in a quiet village. While staying with Orlok, Hutter is plagued by a series of horrific nightmares. Unbeknownst to him, his wife, Ellen, formed a psychic connection with the vampiric Orlok during her childhood—a bond that has fueled Orlok’s obsessive fascination with her ever since. The Count’s interest in the mansion appears to be a cover for his sinister plan to claim Ellen for himself. As Orlok’s presence draws closer, Ellen’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic, prompting her doctor to seek help from Professor Von Franz, an expert in the occult.
